PLACA.AI is a license plate recognition software that operates in the cloud. The cloud’s powerful processing capabilities make it possible for the software to apply artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to enhance the accuracy and speed of recognition compared to conventional ANPR software. With PLACA.AI, users can monitor parking lots, enforce parking, control access, and more.
Challenges
When PLACA.AI contacted us, they had the idea of a cloud-based license plate recognition software, but needed our help in developing the software and marketing the finished product. They asked us to do the following:
- Create the license plate recognition software by employing artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, and then deploy it in the cloud
- Design a website that provides information about the service and allows clients to subscribe to various monthly plans
- Build a mobile app for subscribers to access and manage their license plate data
Solutions
The team started the project by coding the software and rigorously testing it to ensure accuracy and reliability. Upon completing the software, we proceeded to develop distinct platforms for the various services and corresponding user roles. For instance, the parking enforcement service featured separate mobile apps for enforcers, property managers, and parked vehicle owners.
Once these platforms were established, we created a WordPress website that showcased the range of services and different subscription plans available. PLACA.AI also opted for one of our monthly marketing subscriptions to enhance their social media presence and attract customers.
